Horizon Fitness EX-59 Elliptical Trainer

Horizon Fitness EX-59 Elliptical Trainer
Horizon Fitness EX-59 Elliptical Trainer
   by Ssandra(USE)
I've owned this elliptical for about weeks. The assembly was straightforward & only took me about an hour & a half to complete. As other reviewers said, each step of assembly has its own package of hardware which helps make putting it together much simpler. Also, all necessary tools are included.
As for the performance of the machine, I think it is great! I hadn't ever used ellipticals before but I am loving the workout this provides. There's ten levels of resistance & I have only gotten to level four so far. The machine is very calm, not silent, but much quieter than a treadmill. Also, there is no impact which is great for the knees. The handlebars provide a great arm workout. I find it fun to switch off powering my stride with more of my arms & then more of my legs. This is something that cannot be completed on a treadmill.
Also, I must say I am impressed with the internal speakers. I have my iPod connected & the sound is actually lovely. I mean not top-quality speakers obviously but the sound is excellent.
I would recommend this machine to anyone. I did lots of net research before this purchase & I am 100 percent satisfied with my decision. The warranty is better than most competitors which is another large and for Horizon Fitness.

Bowflex PR1000 Home Gym

Bowflex PR1000 Home Gym
      by Andrea S
I absolutely love this item. I lost 7 pounds in the first days & after  month the only times I cheated was when I worked out on my "off days."

Assembly was fast & straightforward. I was one time done in about an hour & a half & was & stay over satisfied with the quality of this machine. I am impressed with the it is design & engineering.

The bad news is I broke a rod on my first rep of my first exercise. That didn't bother me much as it was simple to make use of the machine without rod. Also, the service department was fast to reply.

The only other drawback is that there is not weight to work the legs. However, I imagine it won't be difficult to receive a rod pack offering more resistance.

Bottom line is the drawbacks of this machine are minor & are vastly outweighed by the numerous advantages. I have combined the Bowflex workout with a every day walk, improved diet & hydration & have seen fast & dramatic results.

TRX Suspension Training Pro Pack

TRX Suspension Training Pro Pack
           by Ari M
I haven't been able to do all the exercises included with the Pro Pack but it is been a great help in training through a knee injury. I was no longer able to perform squats or lunges but using the TRX for support I have been able to include these back in to my workout. This is and a great way to train your abs since they are getting it from every side. It takes lots of work for me to feel soreness in my abs but with the TRX it is a given.

I like the idea of the TRX Suspension trainer. Use it anywhere, anytime - no other equipment needed. The quality is great, stitching is solid and the nylon straps are nice and thick. So far so nice...

I recommend the TRX Suspension trainer as an add on to your current process, to help shake things up a bit.

I would like to see more exercises come included or able to be downloaded from the site. They do have the Youtube videos that are helpful in getting your form correct.

Confidence Fitness 2-in-1 Elliptical Trainer with Seat

Confidence Fitness 2-in-1 Elliptical Trainer with Seat
     by Anita M
The two in one Elliptical arrived sooner than I expected. I checked to make sure I had all of the parts and began to assemble. When I attempted to mount the nylon locking nut on the rear left pedal, I found that it came cross threaded. I went to Ace hardware and they could finding a reverse threaded nut which the left pedal requires. This type of nut is rare and difficult to find. In the work of assembly, I applied grease to all of the moving parts that I assembled. When I attempted out the two in one for the first time, I found it to be quiet. When sitting on the hard stool in the bicycle position, the handles are far forward and force you to lean much which puts pressure on your back. The elliptical position is ideal for me. In the work of the second workout, the wheel started making a loud clicking sound which became a scraping sound. I took some WD40 and sprayed it at the gizmo that connects from the digital monitor to the wheel. This worked and now after a month of workouts, it is silky smooth.

Gazelle Edge

Gazelle EdgeIf everyone in America would start using the gazelle while watching their favourite TV show in lieu of sitting on the couch eating junk, the obesity issue would surely disappear!!! I admit to being a small more sedentary than I ought to have been, so decided to try this since its affordable, compact, and there's tons of lovely reviews for it all over the web. I was two times NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! Thinking about getting a small more movement in to your life? BUY A GAZELLE! It is simple to make use of and in case you make yourself do it (which is not that hard, since its actually kind of fun!) you WILL notice the difference. You will feel better, physically and mentally. As for the squeaks I see complaints about, I haven't had plenty of, but have used a small lube on it when it happens and then it goes away. I appreaciate that FitnessQuest has made this so affordable, since some of us cannot afford the funds or time for a fancy gym membership! The gazelle is an simple and fun way to get exercise ( in case you live somewhere where its snowing, freezing, or raining 6 months a year like me). And, in case you get in to your favourite TV show (mine is Alias) you won't even notice the time going by and next thing you know you have been on it 45 minutes! I would not recommend beginning out that long though, the first month or so twenty minutes made me sore... but you do get built up to it. Buy, you won't regret it and you will feel better! (If you are still not sure, go try out at the local Sears and see how simple it is, that is what I did!)

Best Fitness BFMG20 Sportsmans Gym

Best Fitness BFMG20 Sportsmans Gym
        by Andrea
This is a great machine for those of us who don't require to become sedentary in the winter months. I am an outside man but in the winter I spend lots of time inside. Usually by Spring I am much "stove-up". Hopefully, this will keep me from getting far out of shape. I have owned it about two months and use it about every other night. I have come up with about ten exercises that take me about an hour as well as a half to do. I take it simple. I think if I pushed myself much it would cause me to exercise reluctantly and finally lose interest. I am not trying to be a Joe Weider here ya know. If I do get muscles popping out all over that would be all right . I feel great after a work-out. And that is what it is all about. It ought to be an enjoyable experience. I usually listen to music while working out. A small Dire Straits, or Who, or anything that will get you "pumped-up".
The reason for the two star is the instructions. As was mentioned in another post, you do not require to follow the instructions on the pulleys. You'll wind up taking all of them off again to get the cable ran. Also, there's finish caps that are supposed to go over the nuts. These caps only fit about 1/4th of the nuts on mine because the bolts come through far. There was a small bottle that came with mine that said "poison" on it. I don't have a clue as to what was in the bottle because the cap came off in the work of shipping and it was empty when I received it. last thing, they ought to tell you in the beginning that you need silicone spray for the guides. The guides on mine were dirty or gritty or something and the weights would get stuck. This might have been unsafe because they would all of a sudden fall after being stuck. After using the spray they work great.
Everything is fine now and I think about this a nice purchase. Bring out the charge card and get you for Christmas. They are cheaper now than when I bought mine. So now you got a deal. Merry Christmas.

Stamina 55-1610 InMotion E1000 Elliptical Trainer

Stamina 55-1610 InMotion E1000 Elliptical Trainer
       by Antoni T
I bought this mini-elliptical after reading all the reviews on this & other similar products. I bought this item for main reasons:
one - Low cost
one - Small size
seven - Portability
I love the elliptical movement because I have bad ankles, & treadmills & steppers hurt me after a short time working out. I don't have room for a full-size elliptical machine in my house, & this turned out to be the ideal size. And, it is small size made it simple to move around the house to be where I desired to make use of it. I love to work out while watching TV to keep my mind elsewhere & work out longer, & I can pull this machine (about 25lbs) in front of the TV in the lounge to watch TV with relatives (yes, they laugh at me, but it is worth it), & then pull in front of my bed in the bedroom to watch a chick flick that no else desires to watch. I even put my elliptical in front of my computer to watch Netflix movies online! It is simple to carryover around.
Another great thing is that, because it is small, it is MUCH cheaper than a regular elliptical machine so, even it it only lasts a year or, I can buy another & still have not even come close to half the money I would have spent on a regular machine.
Sure, it doesn't have the arm movement, but I find that no handles makes me work my core by staying balanced ( not very hard, haven't ever fallen in the one months I have had it), & I may even carryover small weights to work my arms while I am doing the cardio workout of the elliptical.
I love the computer that tells you how long you have worked out, how plenty of steps you have taken, & how plenty of calories you have burned. Simple & straightforward. Another great feature: it is amazingly calm to make use of!
The best thing about this is that it is simple to stay motivated, because I can watch TV anywhere & still use it, & I don't must go outside in the hot California sun to work out! It is a great machine, as well as a actual value for the money. I used Tremendous Saver Shipping to get mine, so I receive a great workout several times a week for the cost of a couple of months at the gym & without the trouble of driving somewhere to work out. I love it, & recommend it to someone that desires to get in shape!
